Course Overview
A workforce camp is more than housing — it is a live-in operational environment where safety, hygiene, welfare, and discipline all intersect, and where a single lapse in oversight can quickly escalate into a health, safety, or morale issue affecting hundreds of residents at once. In labor-intensive construction, industrial, and remote project operations across the Middle East, where large workforce accommodations are standard, a competent camp supervisor is essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and well-managed living conditions.
This training course is designed to build practical competency in camp supervision for personnel responsible for overseeing worker accommodation facilities. The course is aligned with ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems — Requirements with Guidance for Use and IFC Workers' Accommodation: Processes and Standards, which establish the framework for structured facility safety management and welfare standards. Participants will learn to apply facility inspection and hygiene oversight, manage resident welfare and grievance handling, coordinate emergency preparedness, and enforce camp rules and discipline in a fair and consistent manner.
