Course Overview
This Defensive Driving (Motorbike) Training Course equips organizational riders with the knowledge and practical skills required to anticipate hazards, manage risk, and operate motorcycles safely in line with ANSI/ASSP Z15.1 safe practices for motor vehicle operations. Participants gain a clear understanding of rider psychology, hazard perception, and the environmental, mechanical, and human factors that contribute to motorbike-related incidents.
The course further develops applied defensive riding techniques, including braking and cornering control, emergency maneuvering, and hazard avoidance strategies suited to varied road and traffic conditions. Emphasis is placed on practical, scenario-based learning so riders can immediately apply safer riding habits, reduce collision risk, and support their organization's road safety objectives.
