Course Overview

This intensive First Aid & CPR Training Course provides participants with essential knowledge and practical skills required for effective emergency medical response in workplace, community, and emergency situations. The course delivers concentrated learning focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic life support, and first aid procedures in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines, European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Standards, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 Medical Services and First Aid requirements.



Participants will gain hands-on experience in CPR techniques, automated external defibrillator usage, emergency assessment procedures, and basic first aid interventions through interactive exercises and realistic medical emergency scenarios. This intensive format combines theoretical foundations with practical applications, ensuring participants develop immediately applicable skills for emergency medical response and life-saving interventions while maintaining focus on patient care and emergency coordination.

1. Emergency Response and Medical Emergency Recognition

  • Emergency response principles including (scene safety, patient assessment, and emergency coordination)

  • Medical emergency recognition including (cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and stroke symptoms)

  • OSHA 1910.151 requirements including (first aid availability, medical services, and emergency procedures)

  • Legal considerations including (Good Samaritan laws, consent issues, and liability protection)


2. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Fundamentals

  • AHA Guidelines including (compression techniques, ventilation procedures, and resuscitation protocols)

  • Adult CPR including (chest compressions, rescue breathing, and continuous cycles)

  • Pediatric CPR including (child techniques, infant procedures, and age-specific modifications)

  • Choking response including (abdominal thrusts, back blows, and airway clearance)


3. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Operations
