Course Overview
Offshore emergencies unfold in one of the most unforgiving environments imaginable — isolated, surrounded by water, with limited escape options and response times measured in minutes rather than hours. In offshore oil and gas operations across the Middle East, where platforms and vessels operate far from immediate external assistance, a competent, well-drilled Emergency Response Team (ERT) is the critical bridge between an incident and a controlled, survivable outcome.
This extended training course is designed to build comprehensive, multi-disciplinary competency for personnel assigned to offshore Emergency Response Teams. The course is aligned with OPITO (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation) emergency response standards and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120: Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, which establish the framework for offshore emergency preparedness and hazardous material response.
