Course Overview

Oil spills present a unique combination of environmental, safety, and operational risk — a single uncontrolled release can contaminate soil and water systems, endanger personnel, and trigger significant regulatory and reputational consequences. In industrial, marine, and logistics operations across the Middle East, where oil handling, storage, and transport are routine activities, the ability to respond quickly and correctly to a spill is not optional - it is a critical operational capability.


This training course is designed to build practical competency in oil spill prevention, containment, and response. The course is aligned with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) OPRC Convention: International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120: Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, which establish the framework for structured spill response and hazardous material safety.
