Stop the Job — also known as Stop Work Authority — is the organizational commitment that converts that moment of recognition into a life-saving intervention by ensuring every person on a worksite has both the right and the confidence to say stop.


This training course develops the Stop Work Authority — SWA — competency required of every member of the workforce — from frontline operatives to supervisors, contractors, and managers — to recognize unsafe conditions, confidently intervene, and participate in the resolution process without fear of retaliation.
